More and more Eco Schools are being asked to find their own recycling solutions, with assistance from Local Councils limited to a collection from the school gate.

We are currently helping schools achieve Eco School Status by equipping schools with small and large quantities of plastic boxes, from singles to several hundred at a time. It is practical to have one box in every room in every building..

Plastic boxes are also the better choice for recycling.
Eco Schools acknowledge these benefits:
- neater than a plastic bag or bag-lined bin
- clearly not a regular waste bin so always used correctly
- the right proportions for A3, so no need to crumple or fold paper
- more compact because paper piles up flat inside the box
- easily carried even by younger pupils
- no bags to be stock piled, re-ordered, fetched out, nor simply refitted into bins on a daily basis
- waste separation by use of coloured boxes 

Plastic boxes are the better choice in any Eco School planning for waste minimisation:
- they eliminate thousands of plastic bags each year
- no bags bursting because of sharp corners

Most schools use the boxes for paper collection. For waste separation especially of glass and metal these boxes are inherently safer than plastic bags.
